Ready to Go!

Hi, my name is Tanya Jansen, and I would first like to thank you for stopping by and taking a visit to my small and cazy cattery located in central Edmonton, Alberta Canada. In addition to that I would also like to say that we are a registered cattery with The International Cat Association (T.I.C.A.)

A few years back we had an orange tabby named "Stevie" that was, in all honesty, a monster but he was loved very dearly. To our horror, we woke up one morning to find a neighbour knocking on our door giving us the bad news that they found our Stevie on a busy street as he was hit by a car during the night. It was devastating, and life around the house just wasn't the same without him. He will always be missed, but it was because of him that I am here today making this website and more importantly I must admit, taking such pride and enjoyment from owning and breeding Himalayan cats and kittens. Thank-you Stevie, my little monster boy!                                                                

I have such a big heart for animals, they REALLY are the highlight of my day and my life. When everything else goes wrong, it's a real comfort to know that no matter what, they'll always be happy to see you, always there to love you unconditionally. Okay, sometimes you have the dainty girls that only want to be "pet and handled" when "they want to", but you know they love you. And for that, I will never regret being owned by my animals.

A very special thank-you goes to both of my parents, Werner and Trudy Jansen, for their support and not to forget the funds "donated" to purchase such beautiful and admired cats. They too, take SO MUCH comfort out of these cats, and not only are they "cats", they are a part of our family. My Dads "girls", and he'll often team up with the boys in situations when the girls out number them both.                     

We have been breeding for many years now, and have met wonderful new people along the way- people who have adopted our Ofeline Himmie Babies. We really take a great deal of interest in where our Babies are placed- as it is our number one priority to find the best, most loving home possible for these incredible little creatures.  We are so grateful to have stayed in touch with so many of these people, to hear and see how our babies have grown, and hear how much they are loved. We wish to thank you all for this, it really is a pleasure for us!

Our lives were already so blessed, but became very much a dream when our daughter's were born. Julia just turned 3 last month, and Anneliese will be having her 1st Birthday in July. Time really does fly, as they say and it is true.  Unfortunately, because I've been so busy with my girls- my other pride and joy (this website), has suffered and been a little outdated. I apologize to all who have visited and been disappointed with this. I plan on being on the computer more often, as it also gives me a little quiet time in my very busy and interesting filled days- haha.
